ICBC Macau Headquarters, Located in Beijing's Xidan business district with a business hall area of ​​2,000 square meters is the first ICBC smart bank in Beijing as well the largest smart banking outlet in China.

PLANNING

A pinoneering headquarters

ICBC Macau Headquarters involving smart banking, Executive Workspace, Dining, Club and Rooftop experience is located in Macao near Hongkong, Shenzhen, which in the "Guangdong Bay Economic zone". 

It is a significance strategic for ICBC to be the innovation model of business development ​and promote the international image.

Different from traditional bank branches, the smart bank offers the majority of its business through smart self-service equipment, achieving 24/7 self-services and remote manual services.

The following design adheres to ICBC corporate values and identity in three primary ways.  First, the ICBC brand is seen both near and far by means of rooftop LED and Neon signage. Second, comfortable, eco-friendly environments with smart banking services are provided for customers while flexible working environments are offered to ICBC staff. Third, transparent LED signage invites the community to learn about ICBC banking services and enjoy exquisite cuisine.

Magnifying the brand

In order to magnify ICBC brand, the design uses LED Signage to create a district presence and a freestanding neon sign facing South to serve as an ICBC beacon, attracting customers from the burgeoning business centers both near and far. 

The newly branded ICBC Building must communicate its presences to the larger Macau Region with a special focus on the rapidly developing Business Districts to the South.  To achieve this end we are recommending a second dramatic neon LED on the lower rooftop facing south. 

The southern facing neon ICBC sign will help  to rebrand the Macau skyline and provide a warm constant glow - in contrast to the bright, multicolored, blinking LED lighting that characterizes the adjacent Casinos. The warm red light when reflecting in the water provides a flame like effect that gives a feeling of warmth which will be associated with ICBC. 

INTERIORS

A classy and comfortable exprience

ICBC interiors are comfortable, efficient and smart.

Generous seating areas in warm and natural sunlit spaces, provides for an inviting environment for banking clients to casually chat and conduct business.

The interiors feature open workspace, cooperative space and ICBC club combination that  allow employees to hold meetings or use the club facility at any time.  ICBC staff can cooperate with additional freedom.

The Collaborative spaces and ICBC Club spaces are distributed evenly, for more convenient access to conference rooms and club facilities. This scheme integrates private offices and open workspaces.

The design from planing to colors and lighting encourages a collaborative work style suitable for project based enterprises. Here ICBC clubs are concentrated in the central area so that every employees can collaborate effectively.

The first ICBC smart bank

ICBC Macau is an efficient smart bank that streamlines all processes, reducing queues and increasing speed of transactions.Digital monitoring ensures the security of the user data and funds.

It is the first ICBC smart bank in Beijing as well the largest smart banking outlet in China. Different from traditional bank branches, the smart bank offers the majority of its business through smart self-service equipment, achieving 24/7 self-services and remote manual services.

The use of LED screen technologies serves as a marketing tool. The transparent LED screen technology allows people inside and out to see activities through the animated display. People outside can see dining through the screen – a clear invitation for the community to come in and enjoy.

Static Billbord Ads can only facilitate one client ad every month while  Digital LED you can now maximize the number of ads and revenue every month. With 15 second ads offering 60 slots and impressions per day, the bank can now sign up to 48 clients every month and charge extra money for primetime advertising.

The updates of new ads can be done by a click of a button rather than monthly project teams taking down and putting up new billboard ads.  This saves money in the long run and reduces operational cost
